Performance for Relay For Life-Blackfoot

Anyone wanting to play for 30 minutes with the jammin' group, we are signed up for June 19th at 7:00 PM, at Blackfoot. Heather Carter has reserved the Pingree LDS church again for May 23rd to rehearse. We need a commitment of who will be there. Everyone pick their favorite song and we'll make a set list that night.

April 18th!

Don't forget the jam session at the Pingree LDS church on April 18th. Soup is served at 5:00, jamming will take place after. Heather has driven from Pingree to all the jam sessions here, please support us and make the drive there. The directions are:
Take the north Blackfoot exit. Turn right off the exit and cross the bridge. You will come to a stop light that has an A&W and convenience store on the north side. Turn left at the light. That is Highway 39. Stay on Highway 39 and you will go towards Riverside. (about 5 miles). Pass the Snake River High School (about 10 miles). Continue about another 5 miles to Rockford. Contine on approximately 7 miles past Rockford to Pingree. The church will be on the left side of the road. PLEASE email me at seththeguitarguy@gmail.com and tell me if you're coming so Heather will know how much soup to make! Come have fun!

Southeastern Idaho Jammers

Welcome everyone to the blog of the Southeastern Idaho Jammers. Our purpose is to: make new friends, share our music, improve our skills, create a network, and just plain old have fun!

Networking

Please send me information about something you might like or need help with. For instance, I just wrote the book, "Learn to Play the Guitar With the Guitar Guy," a beginning guitar book which includes a CD. My website is: www.theguitarguy.org. I could use your help in getting the word out to anyone you think might be interested and also ask them to continue to spread the word. By doing this we can all help each other!

Suggestions

If everyone would email me a picture and short bio at seththeguitarguy@gmail.com it would be fun to highlight two of you each month.

Upcoming Events

The next Jam session will be hosted by Heather Carter. It will be held at the Pingree LDS Church in Pingree, ID. on April 18th. Soup and rolls (or scones?) will be served at 5:00. At approximately 5:45 we will divide into sectionals. For example, fiddlers with fiddlers, banjoists with banjoists, etc., where we will trade licks, instruments secrets, answer any questions, etc. After about 45 minutes we will then mingle and have fun playing music. Bring at least 10 copies of any songs you would like to do. Please start bringing a binder and let's get a personal Jam Session binder going for each of us.
